Meal times are generous, allowing plenty of opportunity for a relaxing dining experience, a swim or a walk with a new friend. All meals are served al fresco by the picturesque koi filled lake, offering a beautifully presented buffet choice of vegetarian, vegan, fish and chicken dishes, balancing Yin and Yang (acid/alkaline pH balance) and the Chinese 5 elements (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal). Many dishes are blood type specific.






Much of the food is organically grown on the premises, and is harvested fresh daily for the kitchen. Herbs, tropical fruits and vegetables from the gardens are prepared and cooked by the chefs with loving care.

Tao Garden kitchen strictly avoids the use of any refined sugars, using only natural sweeteners such as stevia leaves, longan, freshly pressed cane sugar, local honey and other naturally derived sweet foods. All breads are home made, yeast, wheat and gluten free. Rice milk, soya milk, tofu and goat yoghurt are freshly prepared daily, as are nutritious fruit and vegetable juices. Fresh sprouts and salads are offered every lunch time. Drinking water comes from an underground spring, filtered and purified through reverse osmosis.

Those attending special weeks for cleansing or detox programmes will have a specifically tailored menu.
